The Sustainable Food Center’s Farmers Market has been a hit in Austin ever since its launch in 2003. Its goals include increasing the economic vitality of local farms and small businesses; increasing awareness, knowledge and action among the Central Texas population; and create vibrant economically and socially diverse city-centered gathering places. Located at Austin’s longtime landmark, The Austin’s Historic Farmer’s Market, Austin’s Burnet Market provides many amenities such as on-site parking, restrooms, pet stop, kids activity area, covered picnic area and live music.
