The 311 Club

A long-standing Sixth Street icon, 311 is a no frills dive that offers up classic R&B and embraces its "rough around the edges" feel. The staff can be a bit surly, so this isn't the place to strike up a convo with the bartender; it has more of a "live and let live" attitude throughout. The bar is never too crowded and relatively clear of any obnoxious college debauchery. So if you want to embrace the grunge, escape the crowds and get down with some old school R&B, 311 might be the perfect place for you.
