SFC Downtown Farmers' Market

Perhaps the largest farmer's market in town, the SFC Farmer's Market has three convenient locations in and around the Austin location. The market was opened in 2003 to a crowd of 3,500 - propelling it to the top 10% of markets. Per their website, The goals of the SFC Farmers' Market are to 1) increase the economic vitality of local farms and small businesses; 2) increase awareness, knowledge and action among the Central Texas population about how to positively impact the Central Texas food system and their own health; and 3) create vibrant economically and socially diverse city-centered gathering places.
