The Lowdown

Shawn Cirkiel has hit another homerun with the high-end woodfired pizza place, The Backspace -- so named because it's the attached back space attached to his popular restaurant, Parkside. The giant woodfire oven is the central focus of the restaurant, with the impressive wine bar stretching out along the other wall. Seating is limited and the pizzas are so great that you'll likely be waiting in line to get a taste.
