B.D. Riley's Irish Pub
|
Bringing the goodwill of the Emerald Isle to Austin, B. D. Riley's has repeatedly been named one of the "Best Irish Pubs in America" for their authentic supply of good food, strong drinks and even stronger tradition. The beer list is formidable at this all-wood bar, but most folks stick to their familiar thick-headed pints of Guiness. Their whiskey list also features favorites from Ireland and Scotland, and the prices go up as the names get harder to pronounce. And don't forget about the food. Leaping far beyond the typical fried pub fare, B. D.'s menu features delicious, fresh salads and sandwiches featuring Irish and American favorites. Their fish & chips are Chronicle voters' favorites and their corned beef is the real deal.
Live music plays every night of the week, including an open mic night every Monday.
The HD screens will always be playing both UT and Notre Dame games, and the bar gets packed on game days.
Special lunch platters are available from 11:30am - 3pm Wed - Fri afternoons.
