East Side King
EastSideKingATX
Although somewhat hidden on the back patios of The Liberty Bar and The Grackle on East 6th Street, the East Side King is truly royalty among trailers. Created as a side project by sous chef Paul Qui and sushi chefs Moto Utsonomaya and Ek Temrek from Austin's acclaimed Japanese restaurant Uchi, they take trailer food to another level. They specialize in Pan-Asian cuisine, adding their individual take on Asian staples like pork buns and fried rice. The Thai Chicken Karaage and Beet Home Fries are among their most popular items and cannot to be missed. The East Side King trailer will wow both the snootiest foodie and late-night crowd alike. New location in Shangri-La and Hole in the Wall on the drag.
A walk through Liberty Bar and out to their patio will lead you to East Side King; they are cash only so make sure to bring enough money for seconds.
They also have another location down the street in The Grackle's parking lot. All locations have different hours, check website for updated times.
