The Eastern

You might find The Eastern solely by a chance encounter; it's located behind and attached to the famous Cisco's. Having just opened in the spring of 2011, The Eastern has quickly established itself as the dance-spot of the Eastside. The bar is sprinkled with mod furniture and is almost entirely outdoors (there's a cavern-like space with a bar inside) with a designated dance floor by the bar and DJ. There's plenty of space to chill out on the paved patio, and the entire outdoor area is contained by a sleek, tall wooden fence that wraps around The Eastern's perimeter. Formerly Bully's, the bar opens at noon in an effort to respectfully keep catering to its long-time, neighborhood patrons during the day while bringing in a new, hipster crowd come nightfall.
The more crowded it gets, the sweatier you will get. Hopefully next to someone you like.
