Elizabeth Street Cafe
|
French Vietnamese cuisine has arrived in South Austin. Elizabeth Street Café serves breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week, featuring favorites like Bún, phỏ, báhn mî, tea, Vietnamese coffee, punch and more. This First street newcomer is the creation of Larry Maguire and Tommy Moorman, the pair behind Perla's Seafood and Oyster Bar and Lambert's Downtown Barbecue. The majority of Elizabeth Street’s menu is priced $15 and under with the exception of a few dishes, but higher prices for normally low-budget items can be attributed to the use of organic, locally sourced, and higher quality ingredients. Elizabeth Street Café is a casual local eatery serving up not only great food, but a dining experience worth the extra cash.
