The Hole in the Wall
|
The name says it all. The Hole in the Wall is, in fact, a grimy, graffiti-slathered concrete shanty. But it's full of love, and its regular patrons will defend it to the death. With two bars and plenty of seating, there's generally a lot of commotion going on throughout the sprawling facility. The front stage usually showcases laid-back country-folksy acts while the back bar highlights louder rock bands and rowdier audiences. It's next to campus, so there's always a great mix of patrons enjoying the legendary history of the place.
The Hole in the Wall and East Side King recently teamed up to provide the popular fusion Asian cuisine out of their underused kitchen. With a separate entrance, all ages can visit the restaurant Mon - Fri from 11 a.m. to midnight, and Saturday from 4 p.m. to midnight.
