Don't be fooled by the dark interior or the raucous metal playing overhead, the Jackalope is one of the friendliest bars on Sixth Street. Any time of the day or night, you'll find amazing drink specials and some of the best food in Austin. Seriously, their giant burgers -- topped with things like wing sauce, bacon, chili and brie -- are monuments to great flavor and a direct challenge to your appetite. They also have gargantuan hot dogs, chicken and veggie sandwiches, pizzas and fried appetizers galore. Pair them up with your favorite pint, well or call drink during daytime happy hour, and you're set for the night.
Happy hour runs everyday from 11:30am - 7pm and features $2.50 pints and wells, $3.25 calls.
