Luaus's bright 6th Street trailer will leave an impression with its blue-and-red paint job, surfboard sign and grass skirt border. It's not just the decor, however, that makes Luaus memorable: It's the authentic Hawaiian dishes served by Luaus's owner Nekoa Moss. The pulled-pork tacos and the pulled-pork cheese fries have a cult following among the late night crowd. For the more adventurous palate, Luaus also offers musubi (simliar to giant sushi pieces) with your choice of Spam, tofu or smoked pork and rice. Top it all off with an original Hawaiian Punch soda or a Hawaiian plantation iced tea, and you've found a taste of paradise right here in Austin.
