Tapas can be intimidating if you've never negotiated the overwhelming number of choices and flavors on the menu of tiny dishes. Luckily, Malaga has a warm, welcoming enviornment, and the waitstaff are happy to help you navigate the series of tastes you will discover here. Executive Chef Alejandro Duran brought his knowledge of traditional Spanish cuisine to Hill Country and created a menu that continues to win Austinites over one small plate at a time. Come hungry and be open to new things; Malaga won't let you down.
There is a different nightly special of food and drink pairings in addition to the daily 5 - 7pm happy hour. Brunch is served from 11am - 2pm on Sat and Sun. Local flamenco dancers take the floor every first and third Wed of the month from 8 - 10pm. Additionally, Chef Duran cooks paella in the dining room every first and third Tue of each month.
