As the preferred venue of many different Austin performance communities, this relatively new venue quickly skyrocketed to popularity with the East Side crowd. By reflecting a truly Austin attitude, the ND maintains an impressive lineup of local and national live music acts, comedic/literary variety shows, and diverse art shows. In a little over two years, the venue has become a state-of-the-art multipurpose space with a full bar and party atmosphere that easily accommodates 400 people. Regardless of the event, it usually ends up becoming a bumping dance party.
The best seats in the house are upstairs on the balcony, but you better get there early to snag them.
