Paggi House
|
Paggi House is an Austin experience unlike any other. The house itself is a historical landmark, built in the 1840s near the edge of Town Lake, and its charm has been updated by the edgy vibe of the new restaurant. The sleek, modern outdoor patio wraps around the front exterior of the house and is the perfect setting to meet with friends (or a date) and enjoy the signature drinks made on the handmade stone bar. For dinner, executive chef Shane Stark has devised a fantastically inventive menu with flavor combinations you'll have to try in order to conceptulize. Appetizers range from roasted beet and lobster salad to veal sweetbreads and chanterelles, all artfully imagined and perfectly plated. The local, seasonal, farm-fresh entrees are regularly reinvented, but you really cannot go wrong with any of the one-of-a-kind creations Stark features on this month's menu.
Happy Hour runs from 5 - 7pm and features half price on appetizers, specialty cocktails and glasses of wine.
The Sunday brunch buffet is a legendary and perfect--and often times, lively--way to enjoy a beautiful day in Austin.
