Hut's Hamburgers
|
Originally a burger drive-in opened in 1939, Hut's Hamburgers has been a Central Austin insitution for its convenient location, daily specials and Southern hospitality. Well-made burgers are the focus here; and with all the options, you're guarnateed to find the perfect combination for you. The Longhorn beef, bison and chicken breast burgers all come from local farms and full of flavor, and the veggie burgers are substantial and satisfying. The hot dogs and mini corn dogs deliver the classic drive-in flavor, and the chicken-friend steak and chicken plates capture the Southern flavors you'd expect. To round it out, don't forget the sides of fries, onion rings and--oh yeah--fried pickle chips.
The daily specials are where it's at at Hut's. Blue plate specials happen each weekday and include an entree with two sides. Monday nights feature two-for-one veggie burgers and Wednesday nights are two-for-one burgers.
