Shanghai Restaurant
|
Beyond your run-of-the-mill Chinese restaurant, Shanghai is a friendly, open atmosphere with an attentive, friendly staff. The highlight at Shanghai is the mix-and-match bites of dim sum. Rolling carts pass by each table periodically and you're encouraged to pick and choose to your heart's content and belly's ache. We really love the sesame balls, which have a sweet red bean paste inside and lightly toasted sesame seeds on the outside. The turnip cake is another popular member of the dim sum menu. The restaurant is especially busy on Sunday mornings, so it could take some time before the particular piece of dim sum you're craving rolls by.
