Side Bar doesn't fuss with flare or pizzazz. Instead, they've constructed an unmatched reputation for shamelessly sloshing you silly with some of the strongest drinks in Austin. Entertainment boils down to two TVs, a jukebox, a pool table, and whoever you've dragged along to pre-game with before hitting Sixth Street. Seating, decor and the patio area amount to minimalist grunge at best. But there is something off-handedly brilliant about Side Bar's execution of these elements that have made it a favorite spot for many Austinites.
