Takoba
|
Takoba makes it a priority to cook largely with products some of their favorite local vendors, like Owl Tree Roasting, Panadería Chuy and El Milagro. But sometimes nothing can top the authentic flavors of Mexico, and for that reason Takoba directly imports chiles, beans and herbs from down South. To this end, the menu is lean and purposeful (read: no Velveeta-and-Rotel queso here). The pork shoulder tacos are tender and juicy, the fish tacos are fluffy and sweet and the enchiladas verdes are tried and true. It's not food that will cause a stomachache hours later. And though the dishes are delicious, you could decide to spend all evening sipping on the premium margaritas, salty dogs or micheladas in Takoba's backyard strewn with cheery red and blue picnic tables and patio furniture.
Happy Hour is on Mon - Fri from 3pm - 6pm and Sat - Sun from 3pm - 4pm.
