Located inside the suave and sexy W Hotel, Trace offers high-class modern cuisine from a host of experienced chefs. A cool pallet of grays and navys soften Trace's pointed architecture, and dangling supernova chandeliers catch the mood in the right lighting. The menu is a revolving door of exquisite dining, including fried octopus, rabbit stew, and duck entrees, in addition to the expected steak and hamburger selections. Surprisingly, for a restaurant that boasts its finer options, the French fries here are one in a million. Desserts are equally outstanding, making for a well-rounded and classy evening at one of 6th Streets finest and most respected establishments.
