The Turquoise Door
|
The paper maiche Day of the Dead sculptures sitting in the windows warmly welcome you into The Turquoise Door, the South Congress store filled with silver, amber and turquoise jewelry from local and international artisans. The owners have a strong and close relationship with all the artists featured and represented in their store. The walls of the store are covered in masks, tapestries, paintings, ornaments and sculptures from all over the world, with a heavy emphasis on Mexican and South-Western culture. The owners are charming, knowledgeable and passionate about their store, and they can answer any questions you might have.
The Turquoise Door stays open late for First Thursdays, usually offering wine and refreshments while you shop.
