Looking for some fall inspiration or even an art piece to keep your eyes on this holiday season? The 14th annual East Austin Studio Tour (EAST) presented by Big Medium takes place November 14, 15, 21, and 22 from 11 am to 6 pm each weekend.

EAST is a free, self-guided art event that allows you to take a peek into the often private spaces of some of Austin’s most treasured artists and designers. Explore art studios and galleries in East Austin while meeting many of the talented artists, designers, and craftsmen in their element. This year’s tour includes over 160 locations and presents the work of nearly 500 artists.

“Creating a dialogue around art helps build a connected, healthier community and promotes our creative culture; this is just one of the many goals of the East Austin Studio Tour," says Shea Little, executive director of Big Medium. “Ultimately, we hope to make art an integral part of Austinite's daily lives.”

Big Medium kicks off EAST with the annual fall fundraiser, Due East, this Thursday, November 5, from 7 to 10 pm. The evening features a selection of over 300 works in a group exhibition from participating EAST artists, as well as performances, food, and drinks. Due East’s participating vendors include Tito's Handmade Vodka, Austin Beerworks, JuiceLand, Austin Eastciders, Chameleon Cold-Brew, BaseCamp, Wunder-Pilz, La Condesa, Sway, Jacoby’s Restaurant and Mercantile, and Lick Ice Creams. Tickets to Due East cost $65 in advance and VIP tickets are offered at $150.

Additional programming includes the new EAST Preview Bus Tour on November 12 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. The bus tour stops at four top artist’s studios and guests will be treated to beverages, bites, a gift bag, and can pre-purchase select works featured on the tour.
