Do you know the issues? Early voting in Austin starts Monday
KVUE — Early voting for this year's municipal elections begins next week.
The City of Austin says early voting will take place October 21 through November 1 for the November 5 general and municipal special elections.
On the ballot is a $65 million bond proposal for affordable housing. If approved, the bond will create affordable housing as well as preserve affordable housing projects already in Travis County. You can learn more about the proposition here.
Voters in Texas House District 50 will also be able to vote on the seat vacated by Mark Strama, who left his spot to head up Google Fiber.
If you are a registered voter in Austin, you may go to an early voting location in Travis County to cast your ballot for the next two weeks. Find voting sites here.
