American Airlines has grounded all planes until at least 3 p.m. due to a glitch in the company's computer system. Unable to check-in for flights since around 11:30 a.m., passengers are stranded across the country.
On its website, AA listed the following disclaimer: "American's reservation system is experiencing intermittent outages. We are working to resolve the issue and apologize for any inconvenience."
