Phoenix blends classical influence, Middle-Eastern flair, and Latin-jazz to create a musical experience like none other. Performances through January 8 at The City Theatre.

The Long Center for the Performing Arts presents Pokemon: Symphonic Evolutions
Popular fantasy franchise Pokemon gets the symphonic treatment at the Long Center. The magic of Pokemon will be brought to life by a full orchestra and timed visuals from classic and recent video games. This kid-friendly experience is sure to amaze little ones and adults alike.

Radiance Texas presents Texas Women Write (or Wrong!)
Female wordsmiths come together to perform prose, poetry, and a short play for one memorable night. The evening’s talent roster includes Holly Bell, Barbara Lightheart, Jo Carol Pierce, and more. Settle in for a spectacular feast of words at The Dome at Radiance.

Ground Control: A Bowie Birthday Bash benefiting SIMS Foundation
Austin’s musical all-stars will join forces to celebrate the birth, life, and music of David Bowie at The ABGB. Featured artists include James Pertralli of White Denim, Cella Blue of White Ghost Shivers, Tricky Jones, and more. The Ground Control jam session will also feature live screen-printing and posters available for purchase.
