Justin Timberlake races into Austin with huge concert for Formula 1 weekend
Guess who's bringing sexy back to Formula 1? Circuit of The Americas has announced that Justin Timberlake will headline the 2017 United States Grand Prix in Austin.
The superstar's performance is scheduled for Saturday, October 21, at the COTA Super Stage. The announcement comes on the heels of his recent Grammy win for "Can't Stop the Feeling!"
"We're thrilled to have Justin Timberlake perform at this year's United States Grand Prix. After five years, the F1 USGP weekend at COTA has evolved into an annual destination where residents and visitors alike can experience a combination of world-class music, entertainment, and motorsports," says Bobby Epstein, chairman of COTA, in a release.
Timberlake's performance follows Taylor Swift and Usher & The Roots' stunning 2016 F1 appearances. If last year is any indication, we can look forward to another artist announcement in the coming months.
The U.S. Grand Prix takes over COTA October 20-22. Three-day passes — which include access to Timberlake's concert — go on sale at 10 am Friday, March 31. Prices start at $159, before July 4.
