So many unique events are happening around Austin this weekend. Food, fashion and fine wine top our picks, but you'll find everything from burlesque performances to family-friendly festivities below.

Austin Food & Wine Alliance presents Live Fire!
Austin's greatest chefs and pitmasters will be serving up scrumptious dishes at this favorite spring event. Guests will also be able to enjoy a selection of wonderful wines, craft beers and live music. Tickets are $100 at the door.

Texas Burlesque Festival
See some of the most mind-blowing burlesque performers during the Texas Burlesque Festival, an annual "three-day hoedown and showdown" featuring a dazzling lineup that includes Midnite Martini, Marinka and The Stage Door Johnnies. The festivities will go down at Marchesa Hall, with tickets ranging from $8-$40.

Penfold Theatre Company presents The Last Five Years
This is the last weekend to catch the touching production from Penfold Theater Company at Trinity Street Theater. The Last Five Years follows the relationship of Jamie and Cathy, a young New York couple. As Jamie tells his story from beginning to end, Cathy shares hers in reverse order. Admission ranges from $18-$20. Thursday, April 9 and Saturday, April 11 at 8 pm; Sunday, April 12 at 5 pm

Austin Fashion Week
Texas' largest fashion showcase kicks off on Friday with a stunning party at Speakeasy, featuring delicious cocktails, a vintage style show and more. The festivities continue with an exclusive Searsucker brunch on Saturday, as well as several other stylish soirees throughout the week. For the full schedule of events, check in with the AFW website.

The Contemporary Austin presents Sanford Biggers' Moon Medicine
Multimedia artist Sanford Biggers brings his Moon Medicine performance to the rooftop of The Contemporary Austin: Jones Center. There's no one way to describe Moon Medicine — imagine a mixture of a concert and a film screening, interspersed with some theater. Admission is $20, but museum members receive a $5 discount.

Real Ale Brewing Co.'s 19th Anniversary Party
Looking to get out of Austin for a bit? Take a short drive to Blanco and party at the beautiful Hill Country brewery. Sip on the full lineup of ales — including the limited edition 19th anniversary brew — for only $5. (Designated drivers get in for free). Plus, there will be live music and food truck fare galore.

Video Premiere of "Siete D" by Gina Chavez
Austin Music Award-winner Gina Chavez is hosting the world premiere of the music video for her hit song "Siete D" at Stateside at the Paramount. The evening will also include amazing performances from Mother Falcon and Elizabeth McQueen. Feel good about purchasing a ticket ($26-$60), because proceeds will benefit the Niñas Arriba college fund.

Forklift Danceworks presents The Trees of Govalle
Forklift Danceworks and Austin's Urban Forestry crews have teamed up to create an innovative dance using the crew's machinery and incorporating the mission to care for city's parks. Admission to this inspiring performance among the trees of Govalle Park is free.

Rare and Fine Wine Auction
The Wine & Food Foundation of Texas hosts the 30th annual Rare and Fine Wine Auction at the Four Seasons on Saturday. Guests will enjoy a delectable four-course dinner (with an amazing wine selection, of course) before heading to the auction floor to bid on high-end wines and deluxe packages. Tickets start at $80.

Family Water Festival
The Colorado River Alliance hosts this free, family-friendly event at Fiesta Gardens where kids can learn about water conservation and the environment with hands-on activities and crafts. Plus, you can watch the Colorado River Ramble, a fun stand-up paddleboard, canoe and kayak race.
