Fight heat-induced boredom at Hole in the Wall’s Bummer in the Summer fest
Like it or not, we’re heading straight into summer, that magical time when all of Austin seems to agree on one thing: Rising temperatures provide the perfect excuse to get a little lazy.
While it’s easy to slip into an AC-and-Netflix-fueled life of solitude for the summer months, nip that slacker mentality in the bud by coming out to Hole in the Wall’s Bummer in the Summer fest, this Saturday, June 9 starting at 9 p.m.
Local favorites like The Sour Notes (fresh off their Free Press Summer Fest appearance), Belaire and Royal Forest (whom you may have loved as Loxsly), appear alongside newer acts like Gal Pals, the latest from the ladies of the late, beloved Cowabunga Babez.
Check out Gal Pals' infectiously catchy "Do You Ever?":
Hole in the Wall will host two stages, with bands playing from 9:30 p.m. past 1 a.m., promising a very non-Bummer Summer kickoff.
Here’s the full schedule:
West Stage
10 p.m. - Hikes (Members of GoldSpine)
11 p.m. - The Sour Notes
12 a.m. - Belaire
1 a.m. - Royal Forest (formerly Loxsly)
East Stage

10:30 p.m. - The Lovely Sparrows
