Arcade Fire makes Austin one of only two Texas tour stops
Arcade Fire's Win Butler is returning to his roots.
Butler spent some of his formative years in Texas, but his Grammy Award-winning band will stop in only two spots in the state — Butler's ancestral home, The Woodlands, and (that's right) Austin — on its "Reflektor Tour," named for its recent No. 1 album, Reflektor. (Yes, it's the one they made that post-Saturday Night Live special with.)
The 27-city tour, which kicks off in Louisville on March 6, will feature the band, no stranger to Austin City Limits (fest and TV show), at Austin360 Amphitheater at Circuit of the Americas on April 10 following its stop in the Woodlands the night before.
Tickets for the general public go on sale Friday, November 22, at 10 am at www.ticketmaster.com. For updates on the band, go to www.arcadefire.com.
