Editor's note: Over the course of a week, we come across dozens of newsy tidbits and interesting links that we want to share with you. For this weekly roundup, we gather all the news we found fascinating, horrifying, important and hilarious.

1. Teen Vogue examines the fashionable and hip at the University of Texas at Austin. Teen Vogue chronicled the best of UT fashion this week. Props to CultureMap's very own photo editor Shelley Neuman for the portraits chronicling the coolest lady Longhorns on campus.

2. Who bought Frank's $250 hot dog? Austin360 has the story about one man's decision to buy Frank's very expensive, Judas Priest-themed hot dog at this year's Fun Fun Fun Fest. Tony Beasley told writer Matthew Odam his decision was made out of "sheer, morbid curiosity." Oh, and he paid with a debit card.

3. Danny Malone plays KUTX. We've been mildly obsessed with local musician Danny Malone since catching his performance at the inaugural Black Fret Black Ball last weekend. He stopped by the KUTX studios to chat with John Aielli and play a few tunes from his upcoming album, Speeddreamer.

4. Amazon is bringing lots o' jobs to Austin. The e-commerce giant is bringing more than 200 tech jobs to the Capital City. No word yet on whether they're bringing those delivery drones, too.
