If you never quite settled on "naughty" or "nice" during the holidays, good news: you still don't have to decide. The W Austin has two New Year's Eve parties that cater to each side, and each promises to be a fabulous way to ring in 2019.
Enter Vice City, a modern underground of debauchery and excess. Since you're resolving to give it all up in the New Year, might as well have one last hurrah in the Living Room Bars, where each is themed with a different vice. A cash bar and Champagne toast at midnight awaits, along with beats by SolFire. Tickets are $75 (hotel guests complimentary), and bottle service reservations are available.
Or ascend upstairs, where Virtue is the name of the game. Gold, glitter and extravagance meet Arete, the goddess of virtue, who's ready to preside over your vow to live your best glamorous life in the year ahead. Groove to music by CAPYAC and beats by Kid Slyce, and enjoy drink vouchers, a Champagne toast, and a midnight snack with your ticket. General admission is $175, or $150 early bird pricing.
VIP tickets are also available at $300, and include an upgraded bar, reserved seating, exclusive experiences, and opportunities to win incredible prizes.
Make sure you've got enough fuel to party all night long by stopping by Devour in Trace, open from 6 pm-2 am. An open smorgasbord of the most gluttonous and sinful eats you can desire, including a queso fountain, brisket, fried chicken, pizza rolls, a truffle bourbon milkshake — and that's just the start. It's all served reception style for $75 and includes Champagne, while DJ Mova brings the beats. After all, your diet doesn't start until tomorrow.
Can't decide? Then spend 9 pm-2 am floating between the two parties with the Vices & Virtues Elite ticket. You'll get full access to both parties, plus cocktails and access to Devour in Trace, all for $375 per person (but keep in mind that these tickets are limited).
So you don't have to worry about driving after all that fun, check out the W Austin's special NYE room packages, which include your party tickets with the accommodations (along with other perks).
Regardless of which party you're aiming to attend, make sure you dress to impress — don’t be the guy in flip-flops.
