Austin is home to its own breed of talented fashion designers. We’ve uncovered three up-and-comers you need to know, who will keep your closet filled with the hottest threads. Refresh your wardrobe with some of these stylish new options from local talent.

August Morgan
You might recognize this name in association with your favorite embroidered linens and embellished stemware. In May, August Morgan launched its ready to wear clothing collection. Designer Kate Hersh’s chic and colorful aesthetic is expressed in her clothing, just like the home collection. Each piece is designed with comfort and versatility in mind. The outfits can easily be dressed up or down and are made with 100 percent cotton. Expect shirt dresses that belt at the waist and fun prints. You can find the debut collection on the August Morgan website.

Fox in Gown
Bret Malish is the designer of Fox in Gown. This bohemian dress line is made with the highest quality Indian fabrics, and Malish is extremely passionate about the quality of her designs. “I feel like fast fashion is trying to take the place of uniquely designed well-made beautiful breathable clothing,” Malish explains. That sentiment is what led her to travel to India to source the cotton and silk used to make her ethereal gowns. This line is perfect for the free-spirit, vintage-obsessed woman who love fine fabrics. Fox in Gown is available for purchase on her website. There, you will find her debut spring 2017 collection, made with the highest quality silks and cotton.

Harry Rex
Named after designer Amy Tabb's grandfather, Harry Rex is an edgy fashion line designed to make women feel beautiful. Tabb’s childhood dream came to life when she “took a leap of faith” and began designing the clothing line. Tabb’s line is for women who like classic clothes with a touch of edge, and her designs are made to transition effortlessly between day and night. Harry Rex showed this past May at Austin Fashion Week, and you can find her designs online.
