KVUE -- The first failing restaurant was the Man Pasand Grocery at 3601 William Cannon.
It failed its December 13, 2012 Austin Travis County Health and Human Services inspection with a score of 65.
Problems spotted by the health inspector included, food stored on the ground outside the store. An employee was seen washing dishes in the mop sink. Food products were noticed without proper labels and a hand sink did not have soap and towels.
On the required follow up inspection Man Pasand Grocery passed with a score of 91.
The next failing restaurant was Piranha Killer Sushi at 207 San Jacinto Boulevard. The sushi restaurant failed its December 18, 2012 health inspection with a score of 67.
The problems at Piranha Killer Sushi included live German cockroaches under the freezer, wine bottles stored in the edible ice bin, and sushi rice held at the wrong temperature for hours.
On the required follow up inspection Piranha Killer Sushi passed with a perfect score of 100.
Pakwan Fine Indian Cuisine at 3601 William Cannon failed its December 3, 2012 inspection with a score of 58.
Problems included drain flies throughout the establishment. Grain larvae were also found in a food bucket, chicken and rice were being held at the wrong temperature, and multiple hand sinks in the kitchen did not have soap and towels.
On the required follow up inspection Pakwan Fine Indian Cuisine passed with a score of 78.
