World heavyweight champion boxer and Olympic gold medalist George Foreman is taking on a new challenge.

Building on the success of the George Foreman Grill, the savvy businessman and marketing champ now offers beef and other barbecue items made for grilling at the George Foreman’s Butcher Shop, which launched online this week.

Foreman’s latest venture, inspired by his ranch life in the East Texas town of Marshall, delivers artisanal meats to your front door.

The online butcher shop offers such meaty options as filet mignon (hand-cut and expertly trimmed), New York strip sirloin (with rich marbling), barbecue smoked pulled pork and roasted Teriyaki chicken breasts. Prices range from $24.95 for 16 skinless beef franks to $299.95 for eight 20-oz. beef bone-in rib-eye steaks.

You can complete the meal by choosing classic side items, including mac and cheese, creamed spinach, loaded mashed potatoes and barbecue baked beans ($19.95 for a 32-oz. container).

Foreman also offers a Variety Pack, which includes his favorites: peppercorn-crusted tri-tip, chicken apple sausages, bacon cheddar burger patties, rib-eye steaks, franks, and pulled pork, with a side of mac and cheese, for $119.95.

And he shares cherished family recipes on the website, including a barbecue pizza (made with the butcher shop’s barbecue smoked pulled pork) and a watermelon and heirloom tomato salad.
