The buzz surrounding CultureMap Austin’s July launch turned into a roar after its pre-launch party Thursday night.
Early fans of the new site showed their support and excitement via Facebook and Twitter immediately following the event held at Max’s Wine Dive’s newly renovated underground space in downtown Austin.
Two hundred supporters including area writers, photographers and soon to be contributors like Nicole Carbon and Jessica Depuy got a sneak peek at the new site as they mingled with staff and enjoyed a sampling menu prepared by Chef Jean Pierre Lacoste and drinks courtesy of Dripping Spring's Vodka and Roxor Artisan Gin.
