Greetings, true believers! Wizard World Austin Comic-Con is in full swing at the Austin Convention Center all weekend, and we couldn't be happier!

Besides the celebrity sightings of so many of our favorite guilty pop culture icons of days gone by (Wil Wheaton! Dean Cain!), our favorite part about Comic Con is the unabashedly proud display that comes in the form of cosplay.

Cosplay, for those not in the culture, is the practice of dressing up in a homemade costume of your favorite superhero or sci-fi character and proudly wearing it out in public for all to enjoy.

Comic cons are the absolute best place to wear your costume with pride. Because, unlike on Sixth Street, people will recognize your intention and want to take one million photos with you.

Here is our collection of the best costumes we found on Saturday at this year's Austin Comic Con.

Lady Deadpool was wandering the Austin Convention Center looking for someone new to impress with her rapid healing factor and uncanny reflexes. And if that doesn't work, she's got plenty of guns, swords and knives, too.

Sure they're not superheroes, per se, but these aliens from The Muppet Show yib-yib-yibbed their way all through the Con with googly eyes and quivering mouths. A delightful whiff of whimsical nostalgia.

QorDu' is the Klingon word for "family." Not that it has much value in Klingon culture. There used to be five of them —  just ten minutes before this picture was taken...
