Happy Hemp is an Austin-based super food from founder Tara Miko Grayless. The seeds can elevate any meal to super-food status by adding a healthy dose of protein, fiber and essential amino acids.

On Tuesday, a private dinner party at the home of investors Lorraine Thirion and Sami Cassis celebrated the seeds with local chefs presenting an array of bites for guests to enjoy.

Dishes included a jicama, cucumber, carrot and black radish plate with a valentino sauce, topped with toasted chipotle Happy Hemp seeds from Barley Swine; seared duck breast with Happy Hemp raw seed, and soba noodles topped with a sweet miso dressing from Kenichi; and turkey meatballs stuffed with Happy Hemp raw seeds, served over a bed of goat cheese from Jack Allen's Kitchen.

As the kitchen hummed with creativity, Austin-based Shakey Graves and The Wind + The Wave performed on the patio.
