An energetic crowd packed into The Madison nightclub for the Bollywood Ball, an exclusive preview of Om Shanti — Once Upon a Time in Bollywood, the first-ever large-scale Bollywood musical in Texas. Om Shanti, produced by Agni Entertainment, hits the stage at the Long Center August 23-25.

Director, lead actor and Agni founder Prakash Mohandas hosted the event, which gave partygoers a taste of what’s to come on the Om Shanti stage — from fabulous Indian fashions to high-energy dance performances that got the crowd on their feet. Speaking of dancing, scenesters did plenty of their own, thanks to a lively DJ, who kept the dance floor packed all night.

Among those spotted on the scene: Mary Bastos, Sergio Galvan, Bianca Xoyamayagua-Galvan, Stephanie Webb, Baruch Garcia, Taruna Jain, Hyma Chilakapati and Sayona Shayegani.

With grand sets, 45 dancers, 20 actors, 20-member orchestra and large choir, Om Shanti aims to provide audiences with an authentic Indian cultural experience, transporting them across the globe through live music, song, dance, vibrant costumes and imaginative sets. Tickets can be purchased online.
