Along with forgiving temperatures, fall also ushers in the unofficial philanthropic party season in the ATX. Charity events are already piling onto the calendar, ensuring you can have your party and your good vibes, too.

Secure tickets to the city's hottest happenings while it’s still early and prepare for a season of giving (back). Here are our picks for 10 festive and fabulous ways to help you party with a purpose this fall.

2019 Equal Opportunity Day Gala — September 21
Central Texas social justice champions are celebrated at the Hyatt Regency Austin. The Austin Area Urban League hosts an evening of reflection and recognition, highlighting the important work being done to bring social and economic equality to those in Austin’s underserved communities. Attendees can enjoy a social hour, seated dinner and program, and a dynamic dialogue lead by a special keynote speaker. Tickets to this black-tie event are still available.

4th Annual RECA Showcase at Antone’s Nightclub — September 24
Talented performers are set to hit the Antone’s stage in support of accessible health care services for Austin musicians. The Health Alliance of Austin Musicians teams up with liquor legend Tito’s Handmade Vodka to present a free showcase packed with live sets by some of the city’s most promising and rising stars. Guests can enjoy performances by James Speer, Hector Ward & The Big Time, and The Nightowls in one of Austin’s most historic music landmarks. RSVP on the event website. Girls & Giving Solid Gold — September 26
Ladies night out gets a charitable twist at the chic South Congress Hotel. Solid Gold highlights include signature cocktails, delicious food, raffle prizes, live music, and more to ensure a memorable evening of giving and girl power. Guests are encouraged to dress in their best gold attire to fit the evening’s glitzy theme. All proceeds will benefit Partnerships for Children’s programs for local children in the care of Child Protective Services.

Moonshine Red Ribbon Dinner  October 21
AIDS Services of Austin invites philanthropic local foodies to indulge on a full-course dinner prepared by the expert chefs at Moonshine Grill. Guests will feast on thoughtfully curated meals paired with complementary Texas wines for a full-bodied experience. Proceeds from the evening will directly benefit ASA to provide continued support and services to those in Central Texas affected by HIV. Select tickets to the intimate dinner event are still available. 

VELA’s 8th Annual Be The Light Fundraiser — October 25
An evening of powerful storytelling is certain to create an illuminating experience at The Line Austin. VELA’s 8th Annual Be The Light Fundraiser will feature a three-course dinner, specialty cocktails, and moving testimonials from families of children with special needs for a magical moment of love and light. Additional fundraiser highlights include auctions, raffles, and musical performances that all attendees can enjoy.

Valor y Sueños Luncheon — October 30
AVANCE Austin welcomes partygoers and philanthropists alike to an empowering afternoon luncheon at the JW Marriott Austin. Valor y Sueños honors the community spirit that allow AVANCE to serve low-income, Spanish-speaking communities in the Austin area through special guest stories and awards. 14th Annual Rags to Wags Gala — November 16
Celebrate the efforts of the Austin Humane Society at Hyatt Regency Austin. During the program, attendees can savor a delectable seated dinner, participate in a high-energy live auction, and sit front row at an un-furr-getable runway show. Guests can spring for a VIP ticket to enjoy an intimate after-party complete with late-night bites and signature cocktails for the purrfect nightcap. 

14th Annual ARF Gala — November 17
American tennis champ and fellow Austinite Andy Roddick hosts his annual foundation gala at ACL Live. The glamorous evening includes a cocktail reception, an extensive live auction, an elegant dinner, and a live performance by Grammy Award-winning artist Seal. Adventure For All Benefit — November 21
Relive summer camp in support of YMCA Camp Moody, the organization's newest campsite in Central Texas. Festivities at the Fair Market shindig include drinks, bites, and camp-like experiences such as a roaming zookeeper, hands-on art projects, and s’mores to help channel all the outdoor vibes. Additional highlights include a live performance by local duo The Peterson Brothers and a hip after-party under the stars at Kammok Austin Gear Shop. Dancing with the Stars Austin — December 14
Fancy footwork, famous local faces, and fundraising combine at the JW Marriott Austin. The Center for Child Protection presents the 13th Annual Dancing with the Stars Austin featuring a star-studded list of participants and crowd-pleasing routines you have to see to believe. This year’s celebrity dancers include Sandy Bayne, Tony Ciola, Melissa Cason, Carol Crowley, Jeff Blake, Heidi Marquez Smith, and others.
