After a two year hiatus the Trail of Lights at Zilker Park returned, keeping one of Austin's favorite holiday traditions alive.

An estimated 60,000 visitors came out to see over 250,000 lights that make up the trail.

Running through Sunday, December 23 the trail has a schedule of fun activities each night, including an attempt to set a world record for the most people caroling together on Friday.

Lines were long spanning either direction on Barton Spring Road.
