You might notice a large number of couples touring town next weekend. Austin is apparently the second most popular destination for couples who are traveling on Memorial Day weekend. That's according to a pretty silly study from the self-proclaimed "sugar" dating site OnMutualTerms.com

The site, which features categories like "sugar daddies" and "sugar babies," conducted an internal poll of 3,254 site users to find out where some of those sweet new couples were headed for the start of summer holiday.

The poll asked users to rank their top 10 vacation spots from a list of 40 around the country and Austin came in No. 2 on the list. The boozy beach town of Ocean City, Maryland was the users' top choice. Other cities that made the cut included Long Beach Island, New Jersey, Palm Springs, California and San Diego, California.

While most of the spots on the list tout beach side locals and plenty of sunshine, Austin isn't without its advantages for new couples. We're a super "sex-happy" city, according to Men's Health. Plus, we're a bucket-list party destination, according to Business Insider, which named Austin one of the "25 places to party before you die."

Oh and don't worry if you're not part of a couple as we're lauded as a great spot for singles, too. BBC, WalletHub and Travel + Leisure  have all named us a top city for dating, whatever that means.
