Sustainability is not typically a consideration for prestigious music venues featuring the likes of Paul Simon, Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan. But The Backyard at Bee Cave has made green building a priority in their new outdoor space in the Hill Country. The two stages were built using sustainable materials, and the grounds maintenance follows similar practices. But all you'll notice are the great performances taking place under the huge Texas skies.
The drive out to Bee Cave can be tricky, so make sure you've got good directions. And the parking is all off-road, so be prepared for some dirt.
Outside food and drink are prohibited since Austin-based trailers like Torchy's Tacos provide all the food and drink you'll need.
