County Line on the Lake
This world-famous barbeque joint has been featured on every "Best Of..." list in the state and on most lists in the country. Featuring the classic Texas dry-rub approach to barbequing meats set against scenic views, folks are willing to wait up to four hours sometimes for the aged and smoked brisket, ribs, sausage, pork and chicken. Once you get seated at the rustic picnic benches and try the mountain of meats piled on butcher paper, you'll understand what the fuss is all about.
Happy Hour happens every Thursday and Friday from 5-7pm. Live music happens every Friday and Saturday from 6-9pm.
Each of the County Line locations are BYOB, so stock up the cooler and make the most of the wait time.
Not meant for vegetarians, as the only item they can eat is sliced white bread.
