East Side Pies is famous for its signature ultra-thin crust and surprising combinations — like the vegetarian Girther, topped with gorgonzola, avocado and roasted onions. Adventurous? Try subbing black bean sauce, hummus, spinach curry, ricotta or pesto instead of plain old marinara. Add some jerk chicken, sausages, salmon, thin-sliced red potato or even sauerkraut, if you want; of course, there are plenty of traditional toppings and veggies, too. If you're still hungry, East Side Pies has fresh salads and hearty pockets (stuffed with cheeses, meats and more). Grab a slice and eat it on the covered porch (then swing by Trailer Space Records next door), or get your pie to go — there's no indoor seating at this tiny take-out place.
