Vixen's Wedding dishes out beautifully flavorful food inspired from the cuisines of Goa, Portugal, and India. The restaurant was conceived and is run by a supergroup of Austin hospitality pros, which includes chefs and partners Todd Duplechan and Jessica Maher (Lenoir), beverage director Lindsay Drew (formerly of Guild), and executive pastry chef Sarah Prieto Listrom (formerly of Barley Swine). Sourcing remains local and sustainable, the plating relies on the artful arrangement of herbs, and the menu is organized into small plates and larger, sharable entrees. Exuberant use of spices comes across in dishes such as roasted redfish crusted in flattened rice, lava-like red piri-piri chicken, and curry leaf porchetta.
