Ao5 Gallery presents Adam Scott Rote and his process of creating his artwork using the technique of airbrush painting. The painting session will be followed by cocktails, which will be provided by Highland Park Whiskey.
Rote's style of painting has been honed and mastered for over 40 years. Learning several different hands-on techniques, he was later able to combine his knowledge to bring a fresh approach to the canvas by working with acrylic, gouache, watercolor pencil, airbrush, and eraser in unison.
Through an extremely labor intensive process that can require months to create, Rote takes to painting gradual build-ups like the old and modern masters, with transparent overlays, bringing forth the breathtaking originals people see today.
Rote has collaborated, painted and co-signed with Academy Award winners such as Clint Eastwood, Robert De Niro, Dame Judi Dench, Jane Fonda, Richard Dreyfuss, Goldie Hawn Robert Downey Jr., Mel Gibson, Danny Glover, and Cate Blanchett.
