Waller Creek Conservancy presents Rainbow on the Creek at Symphony Square, a free celebration of the LGBT community. The event will kick off with a Community Pride Festival from that features live entertainment, food and drink, and educational resources from local non-profit organizations and businesses. Attendees can also enjoy activities like drag queen storytime, face painting with drag queens and Taste the Colors of the Rainbow with Lick Honest Ice Cream.
There will be more than 20 community vendors including AIDS Services of Austin, Kind Clinic and Out Youth on site. Following the Community Pride Festival, patrons can enjoy a Pride Celebration hosted by Grandma Stevens with a lineup of local entertainment including a headlining performance from RuPaul’s Drag Race’s Coco Montrese.
