This segment of "Fresh from the Studio" will feature artists Adrienne Hodge, Alexis Hunter and Claire Watson.
Hodge will share a series of works called "Oneironautics" and show how she illustrates the transparent layers of consciousness within a dream and also how our emotional state in dreams manifests in waking life and vice versa. Hunter will show a series of paintings that explore the identity confusion and the unfortunate othering aspect that often accompanies being biracial. Watson will share her sculptural work based on the alteration of found, familiar objects through handwork and craft.
In this virtual format, artists will share work in progress, newly finished artworks, and recent or upcoming projects. Each presentation will be about 10 minutes with time for questions and comments afterwards.
