Screen ATX Film Festival, now in its second year, will include feature films, short films, documentaries, and new to the festival this year, TV pilots and music videos. Along with the Official Selections, guests can enjoy Q&As with attending filmmakers, and an awards ceremony following the screenings.
Feature films include Jupiter 2032, a fictional documentary from Hawaiian director Nathalie Vaglio, which explores life on the planet Jupiter, and Last Radio Call, a found footage horror from Austin-based director, Issac Rodriguez. Documentaries include For Fear of Kofi, a documentary that takes an in-depth look at both sides of a police shooting inside University of Florida in 2010, and Texas Wines, which chronicles the progression of the Texas wine industry. Short films and TV pilots include an eclectic mix of comedies, dramas, horrors, sci-fis, and thrillers.
