She's no Virgin: Pamela Anderson portrays the mother of Jesus this Christmas
You thought Christians were mad when a scantily-clad Virgen de Guadalupe graced the cover of Mexican Playboy?
Another bunny is crossing into realm of the religious: Pamela Anderson debuts as a blonde, breast-augmented Virgin Mary in A Russell Peters Christmas Special.
Although Anderson seems more fit for the centerfold than manger-side, the former Baywatch actress and sex tape star will play the ultimate figure of piety, chastity and matronly devotion. The hour-long comedy sketch, headed up by Canadian funny man Russell Peters (who plays Joseph), won't focus on the real reason for the season, but rather "an irreverent twist on the Christmas special making it unlike anything viewers have seen before."
"I feel that this is where I should be headed, more so than wearing bikinis," Pamela Anderson says of playing the Virgin Mary.
According to CTV News, Anderson has been performing holiday pantomimes for the past two years.
"[My agent] told me that [pantomime] was funny and light-hearted and I thought it would be perfect because it's funny that I'm on stage at all," Anderson said. "I have two homes in Malibu and I just love pouring my heart out in pantomime. I feel that this is where I should be headed, more so than wearing bikinis."
