Coming up roses: A refreshing twist on an old metal

I’m fairly certain I was a rapper in my past life. Gold is hands down my all-time favorite color. I unapologetically sport a fake grill for almost any occasion requiring a costume. My dream whip is a Black Escalade. For job interviews, my good luck charm is a monstrous chain reminiscent of Mr. T. I pray for twin boys someday so I can dress them up as Biggie and TuPac for Halloween. You get my point.

A co-worker recently shared her observation of me and pointed out the frequency with which I wear something gold (daily). Fearing I would soon find myself in a rut (insert gold digger joke here), I was elated to find so many likeable options outside of my standard yellow gold fix. Yes, I’m happy to report my obsession with this metal now spans across a different variation – one that is a bit more feminine and a tad less Dr. Dre.

Here are a few goodies showcasing my new love of all things rose gold:

1. Deborah Lippmann nail lacquer

2. Elizabeth and James 18K Geodesic ring

3. Gorjana Blake Long Faceted necklace

4. Gorjana Stackable rings

5. Alexander Wang Emile Tote

6. Laura Mercier Metallic Eye Cream

7. Tweezerman Eyelash Curler

8. Sam Edelman Adena Flat

9. House of Harlow 1960 Station Chevron earrings
